Here is the low down on what it is, how it works and what kind of results can be expected.
Cosmelan was designed to reduce the appearance of blemishes and pigmentation marks on the skin caused by excess melanin, improving overall appearance and skin tone resulting in brighter and rejunevated clear skin. Excess pigmentation on the skin can occur from causes like genetics, menopause, pregnancy, ethnicity, age and even oral contraceptive use and sun exposure.
The Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel is a two phase process consisting of an in salon treatment by one of our trained senior therapists and a take home maintenance programme.
There is some downtime with this treatment but the stunning results are well worth it. Redness can be expected immediately following the treatment and peeling will last approximately 2 weeks. The at home maintenance protocol is 4-6 weeks. Once the process is complete your skin will be rejuvenated looking healthier, clearer, younger, fresher and brighter!
